1/3 cup of Christmas Chocolate Chips
1/3 Christmas m&m

Directions:
Put your water in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stir rice into boiling water. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
In a clean saucepan, combine 1 1/2 cups of the cooked rice,1 1/2 cups of milk, and sugar. Cook over medium heat until thick and creamy. 15-20 minutes. Stir in remaining milk, beaten egg. Cook 2 minutes more. Now stir in the vanilla.

Now split the rice into two bowls and in one bowl add the Christmas Chocolate chips and the other bowl add the Christmas M&M's.

The Grinch Who Stole Christmas Movie Night

We have been doing Family Movie nights since September before we went to Disney World. We try to do one every week but they don't always happen :) Last night to start our Christmas Movies we did The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. Such a fun movie to watch. We had Grinch Crinkled Cookies and Grinch Punch. Super easy goodies for a super fun movie.

Grinch Crinkled Cookies
I got this fun idea from http://www.deliciousmeliscious.com/2012/10/how-grinch-crinkled-christmas-cookies.html I knew these were the perfect cookie for the night!

1 18.25 oz box French Vanilla Cake Mix
6 Tbsp Butter melted and set aside to cool
2 eggs
Green Food Coloring and quite a bit of it :)
1 cup Powdered Sugar
1 Tbsp Corn Starch

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. In a shallow dish, mix the powdered sugar and cornstarch together. In a large bowl, mix together the cooled butter, cake mix and eggs. Add the Green Food Coloring and make sure it is all mixed in. This will be a little hard to mix.

Take two spoons and drop a blob of dough into the powdered sugar. Move it around with a spoon until it is mostly covered in powdered sugar. Then, once it is already covered, roll it into a ball and put it on a cookie sheet.

You don't want to place these cookies very close together because these cookies spread out. I put 6 to a cookie sheet that's it.

I bake mine for 8 minutes (they wont look done but they are)  They will look slightly puffed up.

Take them out of the oven and let them cool for a few minutes then move to a cooling rack.

 Grinch Punch

This was super easy I saw a recipe on pinterest with green soda and vanilla ice cream but I'm not a big Apple soda person and neither is anyone in the family so we just poured 7 up and a big scoop of Lime Sherbet( to kind of make it green ). Yummy. This was our Grinch Punch !
